Software Purchasing

We can supply thousands of different software titles. From big names like Microsoft and Symantec to small software houses that just provide a useful utility or specialised report for Sage.  If it’s available for the PC or Macintosh we should be able to source it for you.

We have not tied ourselves to any particular supplier or software house.  So we can supply you with the software you want, and give you independent advice.

Software Products

Take Anti-virus for example. We can supply AVG, Symantec, McAfee, Kaspersky, Bitdefender, Sophos or Intego Net Barrier. There are others and we can supply them as well, we support all types of Ant-Virus.  Not sure which one you want?  We can advise based on our experience of the products and your particular circumstances.

Whether workstation or server based we can guide you through licensing, installation and hardware requirements (what actually works as opposed to “minimum requirements”).

Software Installation

As a company Kent PC’s is not a “box Shifter” we strive to give the best advice and help to all our customers.  This includes advice over the phone on software installation, or where that is not possible (or if the customer prefers) a full installation service.  This installation service is not limited to new software installation but also to moving software from one PC to another.

PLEASE NOTE
If our engineers are used to install or move any software we WILL leave all Downloads, Disks, Product Keys, Passwords etc with you.  Nothing will be installed on your PC without your full knowledge and agreement.
